Well, I’ve been off busy with life an neglected my wonderful blogling. I suppose its a good thing noone really reads it. I have decided I need to schedule posts or something to keep myself on top of it. Not sure how well it will work, but I’m only aiming for once a week or so. Seven days is the maximum for PPP once I get enough posts to add this blog to my account, so I need to get in the habit, eh?
Its snowed again today. Last night the news was covered with the weather reports for 4-7 inches. I woke up to nothing new and was concerned they had the wrong day. About lunch time it started. Light trails of snow started to build up where the puppy’s tail swept random flakes together. As the day progressed it got heavier and I had need to shovel. And shovel again. And even as its now dark when the porch light kicks on I can still see the flakes illuminated in the brightness. It will make for a fun day of errands and laundry tomorrow.
So Thursday night my mom had what we thought was a heart attack, turns out to be just an attack or something. They really aren’t sure but the labs they kept her overnight because of turned out to be a fluke. We’ve been teasing her about there being better ways to take a vacation (ride to the hotel, a days stay with meals, cable and a private room) but we’re glad it wasn’t anything more. She’s got some bruising on her right hand, but she’s back at home where she can go back to driving dad nuts again. He was rather worried since he’s still getting back to full strength as well.
Alrighty, so I finally found a good theme. Working on getting the colors to look all pretty (after all green links just aren’t enough purple for moi) but I’m halfway there. Also working on filling in the blogroll with some of my favorite places to go. And of course a couple widgets and a couple teeny links to make a bit of cash. Nothing over the top, nothing too annoying, just some subtle money makers. I had some time today so I thought I’d do something other than work for once.
This is my first post in my new personal blog. I have a blog for my dog (haha that rhymed) but this one is meant to be more personal and eclectic. Hopefully more productive as well. So look for randomness, meaningfulness, and other craziness that is my life. My hope is that I can manage more of a rounded subject matter, since unlike the puppy I won’t grow out of being cute and easy to handle (cause let’s face it that happened years ago). Beware of tinkering blog mistress.
